Workout 12/5: Pull-ups on the Minute

Winter is here! Fresh snow is on the ground (about 4 inches), and most of it is still white. Ask me how I feel about winter in a week, and you may find me having a different attitude. My attitude about winter turns sour as soon as the snow turns grey. But for now, I will relish the positive attitude.
Okay, fine, there are fun things about snow...this picture proves it!

CrossFit: Clocking Pull-ups
With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.
7 Rounds + 4 (Total: 32 Pull-ups)

*I feel like a weakling, and then I remember when I couldn't even do one pull-up without assistance. These were REAL, TRUE, STRICT Pull-ups...WOW! Okay, I'm finished patting myself on the back! It just goes to show what training can do...training got me to and through three marathons, and now it is improving my total fitness and strength.

Hi -
Love the picture of the snow and smiles! We have had heavy rain for the past couple of days and I love the sound of it at night with the Christmas tree lights - makes everything seem peaceful. I have to agree that winter is fun, but after a few weeks I start talking about sunny days at the beach! Hope you have a great weekend! Great job on the pull ups! It is so much fun to see progress in all areas of our life!!

I moved back here to Alabama from Pittsburgh. When I left, I said "I hope I never see snow again!" I really miss it this time of year.

When it snows here in North Alabama (and it does!) everything shuts down. I hope my wife (orig. from Pittsburgh and onetime survivor of winters outside of Cleveland's in the snow belt) gets to see 2 inches close the streets!

Come March, I'll post some green!
