"From Now Until June"
A 6-syllable, 6-line poem by Mr. Mirek
Round around the middle!
Sweat begins to dribble...
Challenges are called for;
Maybe I can lose more.
Ten pounds less would be great.
This roundness will deflate.

Paul, you are awesome! I love that Poem. You my friend should start publishing these after you've collected a few 100. I'll buy the very first one that you publish.

Thanks! Not sure I could cover the publishing costs with one sale though. Thanks for the suggestion!
Someone posted this a long time ago... I liked it and saved it, but I forget who actually wrote it. (Not William Carlos Williams!)
This Is Just to Say
I have left
a sweat angel
on the mats
in your gym
and which
you were probably
cleaning
for cardio classes
Forgive me
I was exhausted
so sweaty
and so spent
Fire in my lungs
No end in sight
Twenty becomes 10
Burning in my arms
10 is now five
Still far to go
Drop the bar
Can't stand straight
Voice behind me
Pick it up
Five is none
I'm made it through
Collapsed on the mat
Now, round two.
I prefer a haiku...
Wanting true pullups
Construction men think I'm weird
I try in the gym
And patrick...I love the sweat angel comment. Love it!
Rest day comes
I will my body to repair
Will my body repair
In time for tomorrow's WOD?
The will to push through
I spend the rest day
Willing
